For those of you that may not know yet, a Community Week is a chance for everyone in the community to bring to light their favourite subject, art, project or any other topic that you consider important but may get overlooked otherways. If you're interested in participating in the next Community Weeks, then please read the following info!

First of all, imnotsana joined the CW team as Editor, so let's welcome her properly  Now, let's get down to business! :salute:

  • Getting involved in a Community Week

  1.   If you'd like to get involved with an upcoming Community Week then you need to send a summary of the article you wish to write to projecteducate  via note:note: with this title "Community Week Summary" within the following two weeks after the last Community Week ended. You will then be contacted as we discuss your idea with you, and you'll be invited into the group as a contributor if your idea is approved. Of course, the faster you send us the note, the faster we can contact you back.
  2. We then require that your article is fully drafted at least  five daysbefore the Community Week starts. You'll be in the group as a contributor so you can pop to the backroom, find the schedule for this Community Week and comment on it with the Sta.sh link to your draft. `im-not-sana or monstash will talk to you about possible changes in the article and will give you the OK by replying to your comment on the announcement when your article is good to go.
  3. You will then be given a time slot (if you have Premium Membership) so that you can schedule submit your article via Sta.sh. If you don't have a Premium Membership, we'll talk with you to find an appropriate time when you can post your article. Please remember that scheduled submit is set to your local time and Project Educate runs in PST!

  • Time Slots

It's now time to familiarize yourself with scheduled submit! If you've got Premium Membership then you have access to this awesome new feature and we would like you to use it when you post your article. Those who have access to this feature will be given a time slot by `lintu47 and `miontre. Note that Scheduled Submit runs on your local time, so you'll still need to use a time converter to ensure you're posting at the correct moment. If you've not got a Premium Membership, please help us to sort out a slot for you by sending in three possible time slots with your article draft (by this point you will already be a contributor in the group, therefore able to see the schedule in the backroom and say when you will be able to get online and post your article).
The schedule will still be held in the backroom so that we know who is doing what, and it can only be edited and updated by the PE admins.

  • Other Information

Whether you are a new contributor or not, we'll always send you a link to the guidelines so that you can read them over and check for any updates. If you are a new contributor you are required to read and comment on the guidelines so we know you've taken them in.

  • Project Educate Regulars

There will be a handful of people who remain as contributors throughout due to their past contribution and dedication to Community Weeks. From those people, we only require a topic in advance, and then the draft five days before as usual. We require all topics as we don't want people doubling up, if this is going to happen, we'll always make room for you at the next Community Week. Below are the current regulars:
