Updates on personal life #6Points i'll be covering: Romania struck by tragedy Why i've been half-inactive My dA activityI. Romania struck by tragedy It's been almost a month now, but we, the Romanian people, including myself, are still shocked and grieving after the Colectiv nightclub fire which has claimed until now 60 victims. I was half-away from dA when this happened, but i used the posts to keep you guys updated (now i took them off my page). I couldn't stop thinking that if this was to happen a few years back i could've been one of the victims - it looks very similar to the "clubs" i used to spend my time in when i was younger. Stories from everyone involved, from doctors to survi

Pokemon is ForeverShare|ArchiveForeword by techgnoticKay (aka damphyr) is DeviantArt’s go-to expert on everything “Pokémon.” She also occupies the adventurous position of being one of DeviantArt's main enforcers of standards and practices. We thank her for being a guardian of artistic erotica and especially, for being able to answer every question we get asked about Pokémon and just about anything else for that matter. Supreme Keeper of all pop culture knowledge, Kay must be protected in case of global disaster.by damphyrAn incongruous collection of people lined the sidewalk outside the local video game retailer just before opening on March 6th, 2011. Anatomy Lessons: How to improve faster in 6 steps!'Life Drawing 5' by algaegoblinDo you know how to sketch human figures but do you want to refine your anatomy skills? Or do you not know anatomy at all and you are tired to trust your imagination? Did you notice you create disproportions in your drawings? If you are aspiring artists and you already have your own style, you might as well believe you have no need of a guide, but you are wrong. Before exaggerating human proportions and begin to have your own style, you first have to know the basics. This little guide is the result of an accurate research and 5 years of high school of art, and it's created for all those who want to learn something new or just make a useful review. For those who have already studied art, my suggestion is to go to step 6 or trying to repeat all steps in Digital format. About writingIn honor of NaNoWriMo I wanted to do at least one journal about writing this month, even though I'm no expert.Writing is everywhereI feel like writing is one of the most unseen and perhaps even most under appreciated forms of art these days. Writing is virtually everywhere, yet it's very much overlooked. People tend to think about writing as just the stuff you read in books, but what about blogs and journals? What about your favorite game, movie, show, or anime? What about your favorite comic? Would you even like your favorite character that much if it didn't come with that backstory that made you feel so much for it? Yes, that's writing. All of it.As for my own experience; I've always been fascinated by storytelling. I could watch and read anything, as long as it had a good plot and characters I could care about. I think the true skill of a writer is to make (nearly) everything
