dA love for everyone! #10

Journal Entry: Tue May 22, 2012, 4:58 AM

:dalove:         :la:         :dalove:         :la:         :dalove:

As the title suggests, this news article's goal is to spread the dA love into everyone's heart! You will find here a little bit of everything, from awesome interviews with talented artists, art features, group promotion to random deviants' features. I hope you will find this informative and entertaining!

Interviewed artist: Apofiss :iconapofiss:

:bulletyellow: Tell us what defines you as a person.

I like the answer from another interview... my soul.

:bulletyellow: How did you found out about deviantART and why did you join the community?

I can't really remember the very first time I found out about dA, yet a friend of mine said I should join and I did, I wasn't active for like two years I think. I joined because... well I wanted my works to be appreciated :D ... and to learn or simply enjoy artworks of other artists.

:bulletyellow: When and how did you discover your passion for art?

Since the very begining when I drew sharks, dinosaurs and cars... basicly creating something, not just drawing.

:bulletyellow: What inspires you the most and when do you think your creativity is at its maximum?

The very amazing artworks of all those great artists, music helps too and a personal exploration of "inner world" if that makes sense.

:bulletyellow: What do you think you'd be doing if you hadn't chosen this path?

Probably doing house interier/exterier. Yet I don't think it was a choice... it's just who I am and what I strive for. I actually enjoy physical work too :]

:bulletyellow: What do you think it's your most meaningful deviation and what makes it special? Does it have a story behind it?

This is hard one yet I always come back to mutual thing which is my very first digital painting which I'm proud of. It has a story, in works, I may talk about sometime in the future... who knows :]

:bulletyellow: Do you have any insecurities regarding your art?

Hmm... not really, except when it comes to a pure skill of human anatomy... this is something I want to master.

:bulletyellow: Did art ever helped you to deal with your life problems?

Partly, I tend to work whenever I feel inspired and positive, even if the artwork has a dark/sad/surreal atmosphere.

:bulletyellow: What is the one thing you always wanted to do but never got a chance to?

To draw complicated/detailed artworks involving human anatomy... it's like an urge... which needs time.

:bulletyellow: A few words for our fellow artists?

To master a skill it takes time, patience... if one expects amazing results within a few days, weeks or months then it usually leads to a fail. I think this is the most valuable tip one can give.

I felt her fingers upon me,
stirring and braiding
down my back;
all her proclivities platted out.
Self-effacing and labial;
many a time now she's bent down
and bit at my ear,
those lips of hers aching to be blown aside.
And whilst she tangled me another brunet river
well into the eventide,
still I was awoken far too quickly;
unwithstood till she wills herself dreamt.
SwallowBehind the eyes of a swallow,
Trapped between the walls of the lens,
Lives a little spirit-man
Whose life can never end.
He watches the world around him
And takes in all that he sees;
The knowledge of a thousand springs,
Imprinted in his memory.
And every now and then
He fills a feather with information,
And drops it in the human world
With the hope and realization
That if one day all his knowledge,
Was passed down through the trees
And taught to all earth's people,
He could finally be free.

BlissThere was a time when I was consumed
Trapped in a perpetual spiral
Nothing mattered, not to me
I couldn't control myself
But then you came along
You brought a light back to my life
You fled away the darkness
Gave me a new purpose
I can see it all too clear now
I get lost in your eyes
I can feel you flowing in my veins
The feeling I get when I can't escape
This is what I imagine is bliss
And I swear by all that I am
I will let nothing come between us
Only one fate exists worse than death
Living my life without you
I get lost in your eyes
I can feel you flowing in my veins
The feeling I get when I can't escape
This is what I imagine is bliss
Demon's LullabyHush child- feel the Hellfire burning ever bright inside,
shun the darkness follow the light, fire burn ever bright.
Hellfire's blaze, follow the darkness tonight.
Hush child- feel the Hellfire burning ever bright inside,
shun the darkness follow the light, fire burn ever bright.
Forsaken, eyes burning bright, follow the embers burning in the night.
Hush child- feel the Hellfire burning ever bright inside,
shun the darkness follow the light, fire burn ever bright.
Keeper of souls, often called 'Damned', I see the fire dancing in you.
Hush child- feel the Hellfire burning ever bright inside,
shun the darkness follow the light, fire burn ever bright.
Once humans gave us Angel's wings, now they give us Dragon's horns,
are we the darkness, or keeper's of fires lasting light?

    And fear speaks in signs
              It's written on my face
and on the faces I see
How did I end up here?
A masked man brought us food
The smell of it drives us crazy
We eat like we're crazy
Devouring it like messy animals
I see the eyes of superiority
In the sight of the masked man
I look at them with deep curiosity
He looks back with a look of intent
Deep blue eyes inspect the whole me
Then I realized everyone including me
Wears nothing but just two pieces of undergarments
