I hope you will find this informative and entertaining!

Interviewed artist: Parororo :iconparororo:

:bulletyellow: Tell us what defines you as a person.
It's a tough question to respond, but I'd say that among the people that are around me, art has always been something that defines me strongly. It has influenced me when making new friends, finding new goals in life, and keeps me going daily.

:bulletyellow: How did you find out about deviantART and why did you join the community?
I joined a loong ago, back in 2002. I found it because it was new, it was like nothing seen anywhere else around that time on the internet. I joined along with some friends from an online oekaki board haha.

:bulletyellow: When and how did you discover your passion for art?
I think I've always had this little "something" for art, since I was a kid, I was the typical kid who always wanted crayons and paper to draw all over and then I never quit doing that until today, haha.

:bulletyellow: What inspires you the most and when do you think your creativity is at its maximum?
I get inspired by everything, even if it sounds silly. Sometimes I get ideas just by walking on the street, daily life, sometimes music inspires me, sometimes other artists. I'd say my creativity is at maximum when I have other things to do but I choose to pay attention to my inspiration, since, you know how it always comes when least expected.

:bulletyellow: What do you think you'd be doing if you hadn't chosen this path?
Hmm, I'd probably be working in a traditional job, like an office job.

:bulletyellow: What do you think it's your most meaningful deviation and what makes it special? Does it have a story behind it?
I'd say probably this one.
It's the first chapter of my original comic, and it's the embodiment of my characters and ideas together at last. It's a project I'm still working on.

:bulletyellow: Do you have any insecurities regarding your art?
Many of them. I'm afraid I'll reach a point where I'm satisfied with my art and stop growing or learning things. I'm always noticing mistakes in the things I do and I'm somewhat glad. I'm gonna be scared the moment I stop finding flaws in my art.

:bulletyellow: Did art ever helped you to deal with your life problems?
Many times. During my teenager years (hehe), or emo phase, art was an outlet for my feelings.

:bulletyellow: What is the one thing you always wanted to do but never got a chance to?
Continue my comic once and for all ! It's been on hiatus for over a year. Haha, besides that, animations probably. I'd love to do that one day.

:bulletyellow: A few words for our fellow artists?
Draw a lot, like, everyday. It's the advice I give out the most. People ask me how to improve, how to find their style, how to learn, I say, draw and never let a single day go by without you having doodled something. Once a year passes, you'll have at least 365 drawings. And you'll most likely be able to tell a big difference between the first and the last one.
