Tell us what defines you as a person.

My personality defines me as a person. I believe this is true because no matter what your age, people will remember you by how you act and respond to others.

How did you found out about deviantART and why did you join the community?

I was randomly browsing google one day and saw some art I liked and decided to join.

When and how did you discover your passion for art?

A few years ago, about 2.5 years ago when I really started to love art and started to constantly draw.

What inspires you the most and when do you think your creativity is at its maximum?

My emotions inspire me the most, I think my creativity is at it's maximum when I'm really happy or pretty sad.

What do you think you'd be doing if you hadn't chosen this path?

I'd probably be doing something with animals. I love them so much!

What do you think it's your most meaningful deviation and what makes it special? Does it have a story behind it?

Fountain of Despair - It's always been the most meaningful one to me. I think it explains itself and my emotions at the time.

Do you have any insecurities regarding your art?

I have many insecurities. I do not like my level of understanding of anatomy at the moment and I am trying hard to get better at that. I also wish my art wasn't so stiff and had more motion to it.

Did art ever helped you to deal with your life problems?

It's helped me relieve my stress and cheer up others, but not directly help me with my problems yet! Well, unless commissions count, lol.

What is the one thing you always wanted to do but never got a chance to?

I'd like to learn to make jewelry! I just haven't had the time to pick up this hobby yet. Maybe one day when I'm retired, hehe.

A few words for our fellow artists?

Never give up. Seriously, there's so many times where I almost give up and want to slap myself for thinking this. Being an artist should be about expressing yourself and encouraging yourself to improve. If you give up halfway through a piece, you're not doing either right!

Midnight VoicesNo matter how hard I tried to throw up the walls, there was always a few dreams and late-night thoughts that wormed their way into my mind just as I was about to relax.
I wished it was a wall I had to pull down to use my powers rather than the wall I had to put up to get rid of them.
It was all good and fine during the day when I was at school but I didn't need to know everything now.

Mum was asleep. I could hear her light snores and see the images that formed in her mind as she dreamt. They were fuzzy and warm; dreams of me when I was younger, ideas and wishes.

The old man of the railwaySmoke billowed from the stationary trains, over disgruntled passengers and into his "lost-in-time" gaze. Flat cap perched onto his thin strands of remaining hair, dark eyes set deep into a furrowed and creased face, capped off with a hooked nose, slightly askew from one too many breaks. He was the perfect picture of a working class man of his time.

Musings on preachersI work in the city centre, so I go out into the local shopping area every lunchtime.

This causes trouble on my wallet, but the alternative is to just sit in the park outside with the drunks, or to sit in our office kitchen.

And that would mean not actually being left alone to eat my lunch/read a book/whatever in peace since my boss's office is right next door…

On the other hand, I believe that I now know the stock in the local bookstore better than many of the staff, I think.

Anyway, there are two preachers that I see by the shops pretty much every lunchtime.
