Tell us what defines you as a person.I don't like to be defined, that is pretty defining about me.
How did you found out about deviantART and why did you join the community?I found out about it a couple months after starting photography, I'm not sure how though, it was a long time ago. I just wanted a place to show my work.
When and how did you discover your passion for art?I started with playing music in highschool after my father passed away. I think my brain switched from being very school orientated to struggling to find things that made me happy and how I could express my feelings.
What inspires you the most and when do you think your creativity is at its maximum?Ahhhhhhhhhhh the old inspiration question. I can't really give it to one thing, it's life man, go outside, meet people, read a book, see a movie. I just live my life and inspiration comes from anywhere and everywhere, I can't pinpoint what makes me me, and my art is me, so I can't give you a specific point for my creativity. See I told you I don't like to be defined!
What do you think you'd be doing if you hadn't chosen this path?Music, or probably a damn good lawyer.
What do you think it's your most meaningful deviation and what makes it special? Does it have a story behind it?Casual Sex just because of the popularity of the image. It's like top 5 conceptual all time now I think? I am very proud of it. I hope to continue to make images in the future that can be equally as popular, but we shall see!
Do you have any insecurities regarding your art?Everyday, I feel shitty about my work all the time, maybe for like three hours after editing a photo I am happy, then it goes away. But it helps me grow and learn to be better. Perhaps someday I can look back and just be happy with what I've done. Right now that is not the case, MUST GET BETTER!
Did art ever helped you to deal with your life problems?A lot of my images are concepts are about moments or thoughts I struggle with, I think some of them have a bit of humor in them, but the dark undertone is my personality trying to figure out and express my take on the world and how I fit in. I don't realize that sometimes when I'm doing them, but looking back I can see my personality in the photo.
What is the one thing you always wanted to do but never got a chance to?Shoot a list of celebrities.

Shadow PuppetsThis is the light,
in which we meet,
throwing shadows
onto the wall.
Bringing life
to imperfect things.
Wolves, rabbits,
and all.
Growling, howling,
and dancing,
opaque possibilities
on a candlelit stage,
with slight of hand and shadow,
finding something real in
the things we made.
Playing make-believe,
with suggestions of
a child's art once lost.
Disguising reflections of love
in the shadows that we tossed.
