I hope you will find this informative and entertaining!

Interviewed artist: ladynlmda :iconladynlmda:

:bulletyellow: Tell us what defines you as a person.
Well, to keep it brief, I'll go with memes: I think I’m a mixture of Socially Awkward Penguin and Grumpy Cat.
With a dash of lame sense of humour.

:bulletyellow: How did you find out about deviantART and why did you join the community?
It was long time ago, but if my memory serves me right, somebody sent me link to their DA gallery and I thought it would be nice to get my own too.

:bulletyellow: When and how did you discover your passion for art?
I think credit for that should go to my big sister, who used to be my hero and role model when I was a kid. When she was attending to her art school classes I was like “man, I want to do that too” and here I am :)

:bulletyellow: What inspires you the most and when do you think your creativity is at its maximum?
Biggest inspiration? Music, music, music and music. Did I mention music? And browsing galleries of great artists from various fields, be it sculpture, graphic design or painting. I’ve already left behind me this awful phase “man, I’m never gonna be as good as they are” and managed to turn it into something more like “their awesome work inspires me to push myself further and work harder on my own stuff”.
And in my case creativity just comes and goes, I never was able to control that.

:bulletyellow: What do you think you'd be doing if you hadn't chosen this path?
I can’t imagine myself doing anything else, but as a kid I wanted to be an astronaut, so maybe I would manage to get myself a career in that field ;)

:bulletyellow: What do you think it's your most meaningful deviation and what makes it special? Does it have a story behind it?
This one Warrior 2. I like it, because everything just “clicked” there and it was a real fun to do.

:bulletyellow: Do you have any insecurities regarding your art?
All my works are basically made of my insecurities. At some point I embraced the imperfections and turned them into something interesting (at least for me :D), but I’m still striving to improve. I can find something that could be done better in each of my works, but I guess it’s pretty common. And I know for sure, that the day when I say to myself “damn, everything I do is perfect” will be the last day of my so called artistic career.

:bulletyellow: Did art ever helped you to deal with your life problems?
Art is one of my major life problems. It’s a love-hate relationship, really.

:bulletyellow: What is the one thing you always wanted to do but never got a chance to?
I’ve always wanted to learn how to play the piano.

:bulletyellow: A few words for our fellow artists?
I don’t really feel like I’m the best person to give advices to other people, so let me just go with some clichés, which I find very true despite their tackiness: keep up the good work and don’t give a damn about the haters.
